Prototype Engineer / Technician

As a Prototype Engineer / Technician, your role involves assembling and building prototype power supply units (SMPS) and soldering SMD/THT components while preparing wiring as per circuit diagrams. You will be responsible for conducting basic tests such as voltage, current, load test, burn-in, hi-pot, and thermal checks. Additionally, troubleshooting PCB/component-level faults and supporting design improvements are key aspects of your responsibilities. It is important for you to maintain prototype records, test data, and revision notes. Having basic knowledge of QT/ESS tests as per Mil standard JSS55555 and MIL461 is essential. Qualifications: - Diploma from Gov Polytechnic / B.Tech in Electronics - Experience in SMPS/Power supply/PCB assembly preferred - Good soldering, testing, and troubleshooting skills - Ability to read circuit diagrams and use testing tools - 4-5 years of experience in a similar field In terms of compensation, the salary for this position ranges from 30,000.00 to 40,000.00 per month, depending on your knowledge and workmanship. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund. Please note that the work location for this role is in person.
