Job Description
As a Project Head Construction, your role involves leading and overseeing all construction projects from planning through completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end execution of construction projects (residential, commercial, infrastructure, etc.).
- Developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Overseeing site operations to ensure adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Ensuring compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitoring project progress and preparing regular status reports for senior management.
- Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Approving procurement plans and vendor contracts.
- Managing project budgets and controlling costs effectively.
- Resolving technical, operational, and workforce-related issues.
- Driving continuous improvement in construction processes and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 1220 years of experience in construction/project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
