Project cost control specialist

As a civil engineer for this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of construction and project management. Your qualifications should include a Bachelors degree in civil engineering from a reputed university. Additionally, having certifications like CCP/PMP or being a NICMAR graduate with proven experience in Construction and Project Management is preferred. Cost estimation experience in the Middle East will also be advantageous for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Strong understanding of basics of Cost Planning, Cost Estimation, and Quantity Surveying. - Knowledge of Cost Engineering practices, principles, terminology, and theories. - Familiarity with various design stages and corresponding cost estimates. - Knowledge of Value Engineering and Cost Control processes. - Good knowledge of pricing for architectural & structural items. - Hands-on experience with Electro-mechanical pricing. - Experience and knowledge of item Rate-analysis. - Expertise in software tools like Microsoft Office, REVIT, AutoCAD, etc. - Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English speaking and writing. - Ability to work both as a team member and independently with guidance.
