Job Description
As a Cybersecurity Product Manager, your role involves owning the end-to-end lifecycle management of cybersecurity product offerings such as network security, end user security, and cloud security. Your responsibilities include:
- **Product Strategy & Ownership:**
- Own the product lifecycle for cybersecurity offerings.
- Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
- Collaborate with engineering & network teams to define technical requirements.
- Work with OEMs & technology partners to co-develop and enhance security solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing & GTM teams to design and execute effective campaigns.
- Partner with customer success & support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and satisfaction.
- **Product Development & Market Analysis:**
- Conduct market research and customer interviews to identify trends and opportunities.
- Define and prioritize product features based on customer needs.
- Monitor product performance and key metrics for continuous improvement.
- **Governance & Compliance:**
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Prepare executive updates and business cases for stakeholders.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and frameworks.
- Proven track record of launching successful cybersecurity products.
- Experience in cross-functional leadership and agile product development environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP are a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include:
- Product adoption rates and customer satisfaction scores
- Revenue growth and profitability of cybersecurity offerings
- Time-to-market for new features and enhancements
- Product quality and security metrics
- Effectiveness of GTM campaigns and sales enablement
- Stakeholder and customer feedback
In addition, the skills required for this role include CISSP, Cloud Security, CISM, Network Security, Product Management, PMP, and relevant technologies.
