Role Overview:
As a Procurement Operations Manager - OTR at our global energy business, you will lead the Procurement Operations Execution team responsible for supervising the end-to-end Order to Receipt process. Your role involves ensuring accurate and timely creation of Purchase Orders, Service Entry Sheets, Purchase Requisitions, and Shopping Carts. You will actively supervise requisitions and shopping carts to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and service level agreements, supporting operational efficiency and process integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Procurement Operations Execution team in supervising the end-to-end Order to Receipt process
- Ensure accurate and timely creation of Purchase Orders, Service Entry Sheets, Purchase Requisitions, and Shopping Carts
- Actively supervise requisitions and shopping carts to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and service level agreements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Order to Receipt process
- Act as the key liaison between internal collaborators and external suppliers
- Ensure adherence to global procurement policies and compliance requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement operations team
- Collaborate with digital and systems teams to identify automation opportunities
- Supervise and report performance metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Champion collaborator engagement and customer satisfaction
- Ensure data quality and process compliance in procurement master data
- Provide end-to-end proactive monitoring and management of transactional pipeline
- Support Squad & GPO teams in implementing timely improvements in existing processes
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Procurement Certification such as CPM, CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of SCM procurement practices and general knowledge of sourcing and accounting practices
- Hands-on expertise/experience in core sourcing and procurement domain, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector
- Overall work experience of 18+ years with a minimum of 8-10 years in client-service oriented functions and management of large corporate initiatives/projects
- Experience in redefining SCM processes, working cross-culturally, and in an international environment
- Ability to communicate and influence across different levels in the organization
- Engaging, collaborative, resilient, and experienced in working in a multidimensional environment
