Job Description
As a Process Lead / Assistant Manager in the Operational Architecture team within GPS Delivery at Fidelity International, you will play a crucial role in supporting cross capability projects for the GPS business. Your responsibilities will include assisting with discovery and definition phases of large strategic change projects, serving as an Operational Architecture Subject Matter Expert (SME), and ensuring that all initiatives adhere to the agreed guardrails and principles. Your strong stakeholder management skills will be essential in guiding teams towards the right decisions, and your analytical thinking will be key in reviewing designs and identifying issues early on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with discovery and definition phases of large strategic change projects.
- Serve as the Operational Architecture SME within GPS Design Hub, reviewing various initiatives.
- Exercise strong analytical thinking to review designs, make effective decisions, and ensure adherence to guardrails and principles.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, handle different viewpoints, and guide teams towards the right decisions.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of products, operational processes, and customer journeys.
- Preference for candidates with experience in working on complex change agendas.
- Knowledge of the UK/Europe financial services industry.
- Comfortable working in a heavily matrixed environment.
- Showcase knowledge and understanding of customer needs.
- Strong focus on delivery with excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Experience in working with data from multiple sources simultaneously.
- Willingness to take initiative, make suggestions for process improvements, and learn new applications used within FIL.
