Job Description
As a Principal Group Product Manager at Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) in Microsoft, you will play a crucial role in delivering timely updates and innovations to over 1.8 billion Windows devices to ensure their security and productivity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a global team of high-performing Product and Program Managers and engineers, fostering a diverse and inclusive team culture focused on engagement, growth, and empowerment.
- Developing and executing strategies to enhance the delivery of ongoing protections and innovations to in-market Windows devices, driving efficiency and building trust.
- Creating strategies to utilize the at-scale update service and technology to foster new businesses across Microsoft.
- Collaborating with senior executives and leaders from various departments to ensure shared success.
- Attracting, developing, and growing talent through empathy, coaching, and clear accountability.
- Integrating AI-enabled tools, automation, and data-driven insights to enhance product strategy and customer outcomes while maintaining security and compliance standards.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year of people management experience.
- Recent experience in Program Management leadership, building high-performing teams, and operating at scale with a focus on business critical global services.
Preferred qualifications for success in this role include:
- High situational awareness and emotional intelligence for effective collaboration.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence.
- Ability to maintain objectivity and balanced judgment in high-stress environments.
