Principal Embedded Software Engineer

You will be responsible for designing and developing embedded software for microcontrollers and DSPs such as STM32, Texas Instruments, PIC, etc. You will implement real-time embedded systems using C/C++, RTOS, and bare-metal programming. Additionally, you will develop and validate communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Modbus. Collaboration with hardware and power electronics engineers to define specifications and ensure smooth hardware-software integration is also a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will perform unit testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure reliable and scalable embedded solutions. You will support the design of control algorithms for DC-DC converters, inverters, and related power electronic systems. Integration with cloud-based IoT platforms (AWS, Azure, MQTT) for remote monitoring and control will be part of your duties. Maintaining project documentation, version control, and change management using GitHub or Bitbucket is also expected. Staying updated with global trends in embedded systems and contributing to innovation within the team is essential. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, or related engineering branch. - Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in design, development, and testing of embedded software for advanced power electronics products or relative field. - Strong command of Embedded C/C++ with exposure to Python (basic level). - Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and development tools (STM32CubeIDE, Keil, Code Composer Studio, etc.). - Familiarity with real-time systems (RTOS) and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers). - Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Modbus). - Understanding of power electronics systems such as converters, inverters, and power supplies. - Exposure to IoT/cloud platforms (MQTT, AWS, Azure) is desirable. - Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket) and Agile practices. - Certifications in Embedded Systems, Power Electronics, or IoT are a plus.
