Oracle EBS Apps DBA Professional

As an experienced professional with expertise in Oracle EBS, WebLogic Middleware, and Single Sign On Administration, your role will involve leading the migration of on-premises Oracle EBS 12.2 and Oracle Database 19c on Solaris to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This includes designing and implementing OCI infrastructure for EBS, provisioning and configuring necessary services, and ensuring alignment with best practices for performance, scalability, and security. Your responsibilities will also include day-to-day operational tasks within OCI such as backup and recovery strategies, database security, monitoring, performance tuning, patching, cloning, and automation for routine maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the migration of on-premises Oracle EBS and Oracle Database to OCI. - Design and implement OCI infrastructure for EBS. - Provision and configure required OCI services. - Set up and administer Oracle Cloud services for EBS. - Handle day-to-day operational tasks within OCI. - Develop and maintain scripts or automation tools for administrative tasks. - Collaborate with internal teams for application upgrades and disaster recovery planning. - Ensure adherence to OCI best practices for security and compliance. Qualifications Required: - 6 to 8 years of experience with Oracle EBS, WebLogic Middleware, and Single Sign On Administration. - In-depth knowledge of OCI services including VCN, Subnets, Service gateways, Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Networking, Oracle Cloud Autonomous Services, etc. - Proficiency in database security, monitoring, performance tuning, and patching. - Experience in scripting and automation for routine maintenance tasks. - Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with internal teams. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be involved in the support and maintenance of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 applications. Your tasks will include daily support and management of EBS application support activities, monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to EBS application servers and services, handling configuration changes, administration and management of EBS external applications, incident management, and proactively working with project teams for application lifecycle management.
