Network Support Engineer / Tech Support

Role Overview: You will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure and application alerts using ME Monitoring tools, as well as monitoring mail alerts, logging incidents, running bridge calls, and running EOD jobs for the Bank. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in Manage Engine - APM & OPM monitoring tools is mandatory - Good understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM Tools for managing Incidents, Changes, service requests, and work orders - Hands-on experience in a banking environment - Proficient in EOD and SOD processes, with a preference for Finacle - Basic knowledge of AS400 operations and Mimix is an added advantage - Strong English fluency in reading, writing, and verbal communication - Perform Incident Analysis for recurring incidents - Backup monitoring for various systems including telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backup, operating systems, and core applications - Document all actions following company policies and procedures - Notify customers and third-party service providers of issues, outages, and remediation status - Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to create and update knowledge base articles - Experience in generating MIS reports - Previous experience working with Senior leadership team members - Support multiple technical teams in a 24/7 NOC operational environment with high uptime requirements, including day/night shifts Qualification Required: - Any degree - ITIL Foundation certified - Certification in AZ-900, MCSE, and CCNA is preferred - 3-5 years of total experience in Infrastructure Monitoring and L1 knowledge in IT infrastructure of a Bank - Hands-on experience in using ME monitoring (APM & OPM) and ITSM (BMC Remedy) tools - Minimum of three years of experience supporting and monitoring network systems, servers, or storage in an enterprise environment, with previous NOC experience preferred - Understanding of key network monitoring protocols such as SNMP, NetFlow, WMI, syslog, etc. - Knowledge of Microsoft server OS and Network Devices (Note: Additional company details are not provided in the job description.)
