Network Security Analyst II

As a Network Security Analyst II at BCD Travel, your role will involve representing the Enterprise ICT Organization in network and security infrastructure services. Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining network security infrastructures and compliance initiatives, as well as configuring security software and implementing security administration functions across multiple platforms. Here are some key responsibilities you will have in this role: - Have working knowledge/experience with technologies such as Cisco and Fortigate Firewall, IDS/IPS, Cisco ISE, Splunk, and Wireshark. - Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity, analyze security alerts, investigate breaches, and implement security measures like firewalls. - Perform regular audits and changes of firewall rules and VPN configurations to ensure compliance. - Review and analyze network and system logs and SIEM alerts to identify potential threats and anomalies. - Conduct root cause analysis of security events and recommend corrective actions. - Respond to security incidents promptly, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. - Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot networks by making changes to Firewalls and reviewing logs. - Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Prior experience in Network and Information Security-related technology. - Previous experience in network, firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, and DMZ architecture. - In-depth knowledge of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances and Firepower FTD. - In-depth knowledge of Cisco VPN technology including SSL and IPSEC. - In-depth knowledge of IDS/IPS technology. - In-depth knowledge in LAN, WAN, and supporting networking technologies. - Ability to maintain, develop, interpret, and follow written IT policies and procedures. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
