Job Description

**Job Description:** As the National Sales Manager for Packaged Gases at our company, your role is crucial in managing the sales team across India to achieve the national sales growth objectives. Your primary responsibilities include planning, leading, organizing, supporting, controlling, and reporting on the sales activities in line with the company's policies. You will also be involved in deploying national marketing plans and major projects involving sales across all regions, with a focus on developing strategies to grow our IPG footprint in India. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Leadership:** - Ensure that sales objectives are achieved as per the business plan and company's strategies. - Efficiently utilize the company's assets across all regions. - **Business:** - Conduct monthly one-to-one business reviews with Regional Business Managers. - Review portfolio of opportunities, progress of active opportunities, contracts signed, and overall national activity. - **Collaboration:** - Work with national and regional teams to establish sales targets and support new customer development across India. - Train the team on key arguments and differentiators in the value proposition. - **Review Management:** - Review and refer customer creation/modification requests, contract/pricing requests, and new installations at Customers' sites. - **Liaisoning:** - Liaise with national and regional departments for smooth operations across India. - Ensure timely deliveries of supplies, track invoices, and promote safety measures. - **Decision Making:** - Manage day-to-day operations of the national sales team. - Make pricing offers and contract approvals within authority. - **Quantitative/Financial Data:** - Analyze sales activity dashboard and Business Development Report. - Report sales results and financial data to drive business decisions. **Qualifications Required:** - Tertiary qualifications in Marketing and/or Management preferred. - Demonstrable experience of 10-12 years in sales management with a national scope. - Sound knowledge of Business and Financial Management. - Strong financial and analytical skills. - Experience with Google suite applications. - B.Tech/MBA in Business Management.
