Module Lead Engineer - Network OR Cyber Security/Firewall

As a Module Lead Engineer specializing in Network/Cyber Security/Firewall with expertise in C/C++, you will have the following responsibilities: Develop and maintain SonicWall security service software, ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness. Operate and maintain the SonicWall backend data center to guarantee seamless operations. Utilize your computer or related professional degree along with more than 8 years of development experience to contribute to the team. Demonstrate a solid foundation in computer technology, showcasing proficiency in data structure, algorithm, computer network, computer security, and other relevant fields. In order to excel in this role, you are required to meet the following qualifications: Possess 8 to 11 years of experience in C/C++ systems software development, showcasing your expertise in this domain. Exhibit a deep understanding of network security concepts such as TCP/IP, IPsec, VPN, routing, NAT, DPI, and others. Have experience in designing multi-threaded, high-performance, and low-latency systems to ensure optimal functionality. Understand OS internals, memory management, concurrency, and networking stacks to address complex challenges effectively. Familiarity with DPDK, NetFilter, or equivalent frameworks is considered advantageous. Showcase excellent analytical, debugging, and performance-tuning skills to enhance overall system performance. Possess strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and roles within the organization. Education and Experience required for this role include: 8 to 11 years of related experience along with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years of experience and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience preferred. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred to ensure a strong educational background aligning with the job requirements.
