Job Description
In this role at Microfinance Industry Network (MFIN), you will work closely with the Vertical Head (Self-Regulation & Compliance) to ensure adherence to regulations and guidelines by collecting and analyzing data from MFIN members. Your responsibilities will involve creating content for reports, research documents, presentations, and audio-visuals, as well as participating in time-bound projects such as project planning, execution, and monitoring. Additionally, you will be involved in capacity building activities through webinars, workshops, and training programs. Visits to existing MFIN Members/Associates will also be part of your role for knowledge dissemination and capacity building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing data from MFIN members for regulatory compliance
- Creating and disseminating content through various mediums
- Participating in time-bound projects and coordinating with partners
- Conducting capacity building activities through webinars, workshops, and training programs
- Undertaking visits for knowledge dissemination and capacity building
- Staying updated on financial inclusion and microfinance developments
- Any other necessary work as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Essential:
- Commitment to MFIN's core values
- Sensitivity towards gender, ethnic, and cultural identities
Qualification, Work Experience & Knowledge:
- Masters in Management, development studies, economics, public policy or related field
- Three to five years of experience in financial services or industry body/policy think-tank
- Understanding of financial services/financial inclusion
- Interest in technology
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Teamwork abilities
- Project planning and execution skills
- Report drafting and analytical skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness and ability to travel

Qualification, Work Experience & Knowledge:
- Engagement experience with corporate sector, development sector institutions & policy makers
- Exposure to financial services/financial inclusion
- Qualitative/quantitative research experience
