Job Description

As a Manager in the Human Capital (HC) team at PwC, you will primarily focus on managing the people lifecycle and day-to-day operational tasks related to employees. Your responsibilities will include employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws, and managing employee inquiries and issues. You will play a crucial role in enabling HR processes and systems to run smoothly to support the workforce efficiently. Additionally, you will be involved in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities across all areas of Human Resources and the business.

Your role will require you to be a primary point of contact for HR inquiries, resolving, escalating, or routing them in line with HR protocols and guidelines. You will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. By enhancing your leadership style, you will motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality work. Coaching team members, leveraging their unique strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations will be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Own process design, workflow management, and execution standards for compliance tracking and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, job aids, process maps, and operating documentation.
  • Lead coordination with stakeholders on timelines, deliverables, follow-ups, and execution expectations.
  • Manage recurring operating cadence, including check-ins, action reviews, issue follow-up, and status communications.
  • Oversee completion tracking, SLA monitoring, and escalation logging.
  • Identify workflow gaps, bottlenecks, recurring delays, and process breakdowns, driving improvement actions.
  • Lead training and onboarding related to compliance reporting process, roles, and expectations.
  • Coach the process-focused Sr. Associate on coordination, communication, and issue follow-up.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager on change management, operating model refinement, and implementation of new ways of working.
  • Ensure the team's reporting process remains documented, repeatable, and resilient.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing or supervising teams focused on compliance, reporting, or operational tracking functions.
  • Strong process and data analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, able to liaise effectively between local teams and central US L&D Tracking & Reporting.
  • Solid organizational skills, focusing on meeting deadlines and ensuring consistent reporting cycles.
  • Comfortable working with data management tools, business intelligence platforms, or learning management systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of coaching and influencing team members.
