Manager Design and Engineer

Role Overview: As a Solar PV Electrical Design Engineer at ib vogt GmbH, you will be responsible for developing design documents and drawings for medium and large-scale PV systems. Your tasks will include creating in-house drawings and technical specifications, designing electrical systems, preparing design documents, coordinating with technical vendors, and assisting the site team during construction and handover. Your role will also involve detailed engineering, project BOQ preparation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - In-house drawings and technical specifications for electrical works (BOM, BOQ, RFP) - Design & drawing of electrical systems for medium and large-scale PV systems - Preparation of design documents such as RFP, GTP, and various project drawings - Coordination and communication with technical vendors - Preparation of power flow schemes and as-built documentation - Design calculations for voltage drop, losses, earthing, and protection systems - Developing design documents/drawings using AutoCAD, PVSyst, and SketchUp - Knowledge of electrical components/system design and identification of specifications - Detailed engineering and project BOQ for the DC electrical portion - Willingness to travel as required Qualifications: - Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical/Energy Engineering from a reputed Institute - 10-15 years of relevant industry experience in PV system design - Knowledge of IS/IEC codes and industry practices - Hands-on experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PVSyst Additional Information: ib vogt GmbH offers you interesting and challenging tasks in a truly international working environment.
