Role Overview:
As a Project Governance specialist based in India and the Philippines, you will play a crucial role in defining clear project objectives aligned with the program/business strategy. Your responsibilities will include managing project governance through the delivery of work and sprint plans, engaging teams on framework parameters, and ensuring compliance with relevant governance and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own end-to-end project plans, including schedule, budget, scope, and resources, implementing strong change control and outlining project execution in the assigned domain.
- Define key milestones, roles, and responsibilities within the project, ensuring adequate staffing and capabilities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor process implementation effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and enhance controls for risk management.
- Coordinate project-wide communications, stakeholder engagement, and change management efforts, aligning messaging and readiness activities.
- Participate in quality management reviews, process designs, and prototypes to ensure stakeholder requirements are met.
- Manage all people management activities for direct reports, provide guidance on relevant accreditations and promote a culture of openness, trust, and collaboration.
Qualification Required:
- Education: Bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Project Management accreditation (e.g., PMI PMP/ PgMP/ PfMP)
- Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
