Lead PHP Developer

As an Engineering Lead/Managing Architect at Productsup, you will be responsible for leading the API/Backend Development team to develop channels and APIs for marketplace integration and scalable data pipelines, processing over 5 billion products daily. In your first 6 months, you will learn the platform intricacies, build features for large datasets, collaborate with Javascript and PHP developers, develop high availability solutions, and work on internal and client-facing APIs. Your 2+ years of Tech leadership experience, 7+ years in PHP and MySQL, knowledge of integration architecture, B2B SaaS products, API development, and communication skills will be valuable additions to the team. An educational background in IT or Computer Science is a plus. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of demonstrated Tech leadership experience. - 7+ years of experience in PHP (good knowledge of Slim, Silex, or Symfony frameworks) and MySQL. - Knowledge of integration architecture patterns such as scalable microservices, API gateways, API scalability. - Deep understanding of APIs, web services, command-line programs, TDD, and SOLID design principles. - Familiarity with B2B SaaS products and handling big data. - Experience in developing and securing APIs. - Extended database experience in Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or Couchbase. - Excellent communication skills in English. - Educational background in IT or Computer Science is a plus.
