Job Description
As a Product Data Analyst at our company, your role will involve using data to provide valuable insights on increasing product adoption, user retention, engagement, and monetization. You will work closely with Data Engineers to collect and interpret large data sets, identify trends, and develop data visualizations to support our product development strategy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance and drive product enhancements.
- Design and build reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor product performance effectively.
- Conduct trends and cohort analysis for user behavior, A/B testing, and other experiments to identify areas of improvement and recommend changes based on data-driven insights.
- Provide valuable insights to increase product adoption rate, user retention, engagement, and monetization.
- Participate in product planning and strategy meetings, offering data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
- Work closely with data engineers to clean, refine, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data quality and enabling data visualization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and latest analytics technologies to improve data quality and insights continuously.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to influence product design and user experience based on data insights.
- Advocate for a data-driven culture within the organization, emphasizing the importance of data in decision-making processes.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
- Degree (or equivalent) in Informatics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, working with BI tools
- Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in tools like Excel, Python, PowerBI, etc.
- Experience in analyzing feature and usage metrics, A/B testing, conversion, retention, segmentation, and developing user archetypes and usage patterns.
- Excellent attention to details and analytical skills
- Proven success in uncovering data insights, designing product experiments, evaluating results, and making recommendations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively with colleagues
