Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for supporting Kubernetes clusters, observability platforms, operating systems, monitoring tools, and logging pipelines that power distributed systems. Working across the infrastructure stack, you will ensure reliability, performance, and stability while collaborating closely with senior engineers to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot the technology stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Kubernetes operations on platforms like Rafay, OpenShift, Mirantis, native Kubernetes, and Rancher.
- Support Kubernetes-based infrastructure with a focus on policy/CRDs and reliability.
- Operate and improve monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, and ELK.
- Build dashboards, queries, alert integrations, and thresholds.
- Perform Linux administration tasks across Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Debian.
- Participate in on-call duties, follow runbooks, and perform first-level incident triage.
- Contribute to automation and infrastructure-as-code for repeatable operations.
Qualification Required:
- 12 years of experience in Linux, scripting (Python, Bash, or Go), or cloud operations.
- Familiarity with containerization platforms including pods, services, namespaces, and persistent volumes.
- Familiarity with monitoring or logging tools and time-series metrics.
- Understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals.
