Junior Autocad Draftsman

As a Draftsman with 13 years of experience in AutoCAD 2D drafting, specifically related to electrical and PLC control panels, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Prepare AutoCAD 2D drawings for electrical Panels, Small Switchgear Panels, and PLC control panels including I/O Racks. - Develop panel layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and terminal layouts. - Create and update Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for electrical systems. - Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on project requirements and drawings. - Revise drawings based on engineering inputs and project specifications. - Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions. - Support engineers with technical drafting and documentation during project execution. - Ensure drawings comply with electrical standards and company guidelines. - Coordinate with project and design teams when necessary. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting), experience in preparing electrical panel drawings and PLC panel layouts, understanding of basic electrical wiring and components, knowledge of Single Line Diagrams (SLD), ability to prepare BOQ and material lists from drawings, good attention to detail and documentation skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Qualifications: - Diploma / ITI / Technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. - 13 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting. Preferred Skills (Optional): - Familiarity with industrial control panels and automation systems. - Basic understanding of PLC systems and instrumentation drawings. Please note that the initial salary for this position will be 12, and it will increase after 6 months based on performance. Location for this role is Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This is a full-time position with the possibility of permanent or contractual/temporary employment for a duration of 12 months.
