IT Infrastructure Director

As an experienced IT Infrastructure Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing enterprise-wide infrastructure strategy, focusing on cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP, cost optimization, and network infrastructure. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. You will also be tasked with optimizing Azure and GCP platforms for performance, scalability, and reliability. Additionally, you will drive pricing strategies for Azure and GCP, ensuring cost-effective usage and financial governance. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing network infrastructure, enforcing ITIL best practices, and developing infrastructure governance policies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendor management, and building high-performing engineering teams will be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure including cloud and on-prem environments. - Optimize Azure Platform and GCP Platform environments for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Drive Azure Pricing and GCP Pricing strategies for cost-effective usage. - Implement and manage Azure Cost Optimization and GCP Cloud Optimization initiatives. - Oversee network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity models. - Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, change, and service management. - Develop and enforce infrastructure governance, security, and compliance policies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategy with business needs. - Lead vendor management, contract negotiations, and service delivery performance. - Build and mentor high-performing infrastructure and cloud engineering teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Platform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Proven experience in cloud pricing models, billing analysis, and cost optimization strategies. - Deep understanding of Azure Pricing and GCP Pricing frameworks and tools. - Hands-on experience with cloud cost management tools and optimization techniques. - Solid background in network infrastructure design and operations. - Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management processes. - Experience with hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration strategies. - Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, or ITIL Certification. - Experience in large-scale enterprise infrastructure transformation projects. - Exposure to automation, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
