Job Description

As a candidate for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience. Additionally, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

Google Professional Cloud Architect certification
7+ years of direct experience working in IT Infrastructure
Experience in managing large-scale Windows/Linux environments
Ability to understand complex customer's existing software workloads and define a technical migration roadmap to the Cloud
Proficiency in Identity and Access Management, networking, storage, and compute infrastructure for architecting, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions
Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable and secure distributed systems
Proficiency in advanced networking areas including Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration, load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks, and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies
Familiarity with Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases, and/or Big Data technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Spark, Hadoop, other Open Source)
Knowledge of application development concepts and technologies such as CI/CD, Java, Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible
Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, and continuous integration/delivery
Understanding of open-source server software (such as NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch)
Expertise in containerization and container orchestration technologies like Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Customer-facing migration experience, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations
Experience in project governance and enterprise customer management
Willingness to travel around 30%-40% of the time
