Job Description

As a candidate for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience. Additionally, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Google Professional Cloud Architect certification
  • 7+ years of direct experience working in IT Infrastructure
  • Experience in managing large-scale Windows/Linux environments
  • Ability to understand complex customer's existing software workloads and define a technical migration roadmap to the Cloud
  • Proficiency in Identity and Access Management, networking, storage, and compute infrastructure for architecting, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions
  • Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable and secure distributed systems
  • Proficiency in advanced networking areas including Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration, load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks, and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies
  • Familiarity with Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases, and/or Big Data technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Spark, Hadoop, other Open Source)
  • Knowledge of application development concepts and technologies such as CI/CD, Java, Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible
  • Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, and continuous integration/delivery
  • Understanding of open-source server software (such as NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch)
  • Expertise in containerization and container orchestration technologies like Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Customer-facing migration experience, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations
  • Experience in project governance and enterprise customer management
  • Willingness to travel around 30%-40% of the time
