As a Frontend Engineer at Pixxel, you will be a crucial part of the Platform team, contributing to the advancement and management of the in-house analytics platform. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, shaping products, continuous learning, and upholding best practices. Your experience and contributions will play a vital role in driving process improvements and fostering collaboration across the organization. **Responsibilities & Duties:** - Designing, developing, and testing UI for web applications with consideration of design patterns and best practices, including unit and integration tests. - Translating user and business needs accurately into functional frontend code. - Building reusable code and libraries for future use. - Working closely with the Design Engineer, Engineering Team, and Product Team. - Managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. - Taking full ownership to shape the foundation of the product and business you work on. - Actively learning new languages, techniques, and methodologies. - Developing innovative and straightforward UI for complex problems and translating design thinking into product. - Creating highly responsive user interface components using React concepts. - Developing and maintaining front-end architecture to support user interface concepts. - Monitoring and improving front-end performance. - Documenting application changes and development updates. **Desirable Skills & Certifications:** - Proven experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies. - Experience with popular React libraries and tools such as Redux, React Router, and Axios. - Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn. - Understanding of responsive design principles and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work as part of a team in an agile development environment.
