Frontend Engineer

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for building responsive and high-quality user interfaces using ReactJS, JavaScript, and modern web technologies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Translating wireframes and mockups into functional UI components in collaboration with designers. - Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimizing for performance, scalability, and accessibility. - Writing clean, modular, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. - Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure functionality and performance. - Collaborating with backend engineers to integrate APIs and server-side logic with the frontend. - Engaging with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute technical insights. - Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and learning from peers. - Staying up to date with the latest frontend tools, trends, and frameworks, proactively suggesting improvements. - Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to building strong frontend foundations (for experienced folks). Qualifications required for this role include: - 6 months - 6 years of experience building and maintaining web apps with ReactJS or other modern JS frameworks (Angular, Vue.js, etc.). - Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, component design, and separation of concerns. - Experience with frontend tools (SASS, bundlers, npm, Webpack, etc.). - Good grasp of REST APIs and integrating with backend services. - Ability to build features end-to-end and take ownership from idea to deployment. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and problem spaces. Additionally, it would be nice to have (but not mandatory): - Contributions to open-source projects or personal side projects on GitHub. - Prior experience at a product company. - Familiarity with backend programming languages or micro-frontends.
