Job Description
As a Statutory Reporting COE member, you will be responsible for leading and delivering the close activities and audits for legal entities globally. Your role will involve leading USGAAP Close, Local Close, and statutory audit closures in collaboration with external audit partners. You will apply your developed subject matter knowledge to drive Statutory audits & Close activities in compliance with local regulatory requirements, while handling problems of diverse complexity with independent judgment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end ownership of close activities & statutory audits for diverse legal entities, working closely with external auditors.
- Preparation of Financial Statements as per accounting standards.
- Collaboration with Controllers and stakeholders for complete analysis of Financial statements.
- Standardization and automation of close processes, audit schedules, and processes.
- Proficiency in accounting processes and principles such as IFRS, US GAAP, and other frameworks.
- Support policy and process improvement, identify issues, propose solutions, and analyze Trial Balance during month end, quarter end, and year end close.
Qualifications Recommended:
- First-level university degree focused on business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience as a financial analyst or controller, preferably in more than one finance function.
- Previous experience in BIG 4 firms will be advantageous.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)
Knowledge & Skills required:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and technical aptitude in accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, teamwork, and business acumen skills.
- Proficiency in US GAAP & IFRS, ability to work independently, and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Office tools.

Your expertise and proactive approach will play a crucial role in the success of the close activities and statutory audits for various legal entities.
