Job Description
Role Overview:
At Julius Baer, you will be responsible for supporting and executing the financial operations, contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes through sound analysis. Your core responsibilities will include overviewing daily Revenue, NNM & AUM, monitoring performance, forecasting & planning, cost management, business partnering, finder management, presentations, governance & control, adhoc analysis, and client management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overview daily Revenue, NNM & AUM to ensure accurate reporting
- Monitor performance by preparing & tracking financial performance against budget, forecast, and previous year & month performance
- Assist in preparing annual budget, rolling forecasts, and 3 and 5 year business plans
- Review costs, highlight any one-off/unplanned spends, and provide insights for cost saving/optimization
- Work closely with CFO & Head of Business Finance to provide business intelligence and insights
- Ensure adherence to Finders policy and prepare high-quality presentations for various stakeholders
- Maintain governance & control by ensuring adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare business case modeling, reviews, and ad-hoc analysis as needed
- Manage clients internally and externally, collaborate with various departments, and work with auditors under guidance from Head of Business Finance or CFO
Qualifications Required:
- Strong academic background with CA / MBA or similar from reputed institutions
- 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in BFSI / big 4 consulting / advisory services
- Experience in or related to Wealth Management business is preferable
- Excellent analytical/conceptual skills with understanding of private banking products
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau skills
- Experience with Power BI/Tableau is an added advantage
