ELN Data Expert - Life Science

As an R&D IT Business Data Analyst at SystemsPlus, you will play a crucial role in the integration and optimization of scientific data systems within the Biotech Industry. Your primary responsibilities will involve administering and supporting R&D IT systems, collaborating with various teams to gather and translate business needs, managing data collection and integration, designing and implementing dashboards for data visualization, developing user-friendly interfaces, and leading or supporting multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support R&D IT systems, such as Benchling ELN and other biotech applications
• Partner with R&D, Clinical, Quality, Technical Operations, and IT teams to gather and translate complex business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Support data collection, cleansing, integration, and governance across systems like ELN, LIMS, and cloud-based platforms
• Drive design and implement dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations using tools like Spotfire, Power BI, or other BI platforms
• Assist in the design of user-friendly interfaces, workflows, and wireframes for new or existing R&D systems and applications
• Lead or support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals

Qualifications Required:

• Preclinical or Laboratory IT experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and scientific audiences
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience in querying and analyzing structured and unstructured data
• Understanding of data modeling, data governance, and analytics methodologies
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus
• Experience with GxP Systems, Business Intelligence tools, Python and/or R language, and AWS cloud services is highly desirable
