As a DevOps Engineer Infrastructure QA at Synthlane Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and stability of our cutting-edge VoiceAI systems running across cloud and on-prem environments. Your high ownership, strong fundamentals, and maturity are key to handling real-world infrastructure release reliability, making a direct impact on the stability of our systems. **Role Overview:** In this role, you will be responsible for: - Managing and operating production Kubernetes clusters and related platform components - Provisioning and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform for cloud networking and compute - Supporting deployments on cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and others, while ensuring resource planning and cost-efficiency - Assisting in bare-metal on-prem deployments for client environments with network constraints, custom setups, and security requirements - Supporting GPU infrastructure for VoiceAI workloads, including provisioning, scheduling, scaling, reliability, and monitoring - Working on monitoring and alerting setups using tools like Grafana, PagerDuty, or equivalents - Defining and validating reliability checks, incident hygiene, and deployment safety checks - Performing QA for Infra Product Workflows by reading PRDs, converting them into test scenarios, and conducting manual testing of web flows and REST APIs - Tracking work rigorously using tools like Jira, Linear, or ClickUp **Key Responsibilities:** - Infrastructure Deployment: - Manage production Kubernetes clusters and related components - Provision and maintain infrastructure using Terraform - Support deployments on cloud providers and assist with resource planning - Assist in bare-metal on-prem deployments and support GPU infrastructure for VoiceAI workloads - Monitoring Reliability Operations: - Work on monitoring and alerting setups - Define and validate reliability checks and incident hygiene - Investigate incidents, propose improvements, and ensure traceable infrastructure changes - QA for Infra Product Workflows: - Read PRDs and user stories, convert them into test scenarios - Perform manual testing of web flows and REST APIs - Track work rigorously using Jira or similar tools **Qualifications Required:** - Very high ownership and reliability - Strong problem-solving ability and high-level thinking - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform - Experience with at least one major cloud provider - Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash - Good understanding of networking fundamentals - Excellent attention to detail and familiarity with modern dev tooling If you are a reliable, high-ownership individual with a passion for maintaining stable and scalable infrastructure, we encourage you to apply.
