Job Description
As an Accountant at Roche, your role involves ensuring the day-to-day accounts and accounting processes are managed to a high standard. You will work closely with the RSS APAC Ops teams (R2R, D2P & Compliance) to ensure accuracy of data and smooth operations. Additionally, you will have frequent communication and collaboration with the affiliate's Finance Manager and/or local finance team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Contribute to the safeguarding of company assets through the maintenance of appropriate controls while supporting the Finance Manager.
- Lead the determination of appropriate accounting treatment for various programs and/or global projects.
**GAMA:**
- Co-ordinate with SSC KL Finance teams for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet.
- Responsible for Internal Controls of Financial Reporting (ICFR) documentation and internal controls matters.
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliation, submission of reporting packages, and approval of manual journal entries.
**Accounts Receivables / Accounts Payables:**
- Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables.
- Review debtors ageing, approve manual billings, and ensure accurate reporting of all sales related activities.
**Treasury:**
- Manage cash flow, treasury matters, master data, statutory taxes calculations, and reconciliation.
- Prepare audit related schedules and documentation, and participate in compliance audits.
- Identify and implement solutions for continuous improvement opportunities.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Degree or equivalent experience in Finance/Accounting/Commerce.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in related field with minimum 5 years in accountant role/audit experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, audit, and taxation.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and effective stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in English, with additional advantage of Thai CPD active license.
