Job Description

As a member of the Editage- Digital Media Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies for a diverse range of scientific stakeholders worldwide. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing marketing strategies aligned with client objectives and budgets, focusing on news media and social media solutions. This involves creating proposals and media plans. - Executing PR and media distribution campaigns, including press release dissemination via newswires and earned media pitching. You will also manage Digital PR, SEO, and Online Reputation Management. - Planning and implementing organic and paid digital campaigns across various platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Meta platforms, YouTube, and Google Ads, ensuring timely and error-free execution. - Tracking, managing, and reporting campaign performance metrics, including media coverage reports and digital impact reports like reach, engagement, impressions, clicks, and follower growth. - Overseeing budget management, including coordinating with Points of Contact (PoCs), monitoring spends, and maintaining accurate records across campaigns and accounts. - Acting as a key point of contact for marketing-related queries, providing strategic inputs, scoping projects, managing timelines, liaising with international partners, and handling special projects like lead generation, regional PPC, and email campaigns in collaboration with external agencies. To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: - Digital & news media marketing expertise with a strong understanding of social media marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, ORM, and performance metrics. Experience in academia-focused digital promotion and knowledge of Public Relations is a plus. - Hands-on experience with platforms and tools such as EurekAlert, PR Newswire, EIN Presswire, LinkedIn, X, Meta platforms, YouTube, Spotify, and tools like Semrush, Meltwater, Muckrack, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, or similar. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and coordinate across stakeholders. - Excellent communication skills, including liaising with journalists, vendors, PR partners, and other external stakeholders. - Customer-centric mindset with the ability to think from the clients perspective when delivering solutions, ensuring quality and impact. - Eligibility & mindset: Graduate degree in Marketing/Advertising (scientific background preferred), 2+ years of relevant digital marketing experience with campaign execution and reporting exposure; open to learning, adaptable, and supported by structured onboarding and training.
