Cashier - Caf

Job Description: As a Cashier, your role will involve managing cash transactions efficiently and providing excellent customer service at all times. You will be responsible for handling various payment methods accurately, maintaining the cash register balance, and ensuring a seamless billing process. Additionally, you will assist in serving guests, coordinate with kitchen/bar staff, and handle customer queries with a polite and helpful approach. Key Responsibilities: - Handle all cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately - Maintain proper cash register balance and perform daily cash reconciliation - Issue bills, invoices, and receipts correctly - Ensure zero cash shortages or discrepancies - Assist in serving guests when required - Take orders and coordinate with kitchen/bar staff - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area - Handle customer queries and resolve basic complaints politely Qualifications Required: - Good communication skills (English & local language preferred) - Basic knowledge of POS systems - Strong numerical ability and attention to detail - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced caf environment - Presentable and customer-friendly attitude - Minimum qualification: PUC / Graduate preferred - Prior experience in caf/restaurant cashier role is an advantage In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers benefits such as commuter assistance, provided food, and paid time off.
