Business/Data Analyst

As a Business Analyst in the Asset Assurance Team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding company assets and enhancing operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify risks, and develop strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks in asset operations.
• Building and maintaining dashboards/reports to track KPIs related to asset assurance, utilization, and recovery.
• Supporting in creating risk categorization models and monitoring frameworks.
• Partnering with operations, finance, and product teams to understand pain points and develop data-backed solutions.
• Conducting root cause analysis on revenue leakages, asset losses, and process inefficiencies.
• Defining and documenting business requirements for new processes or system enhancements.

Qualifications required for this role include:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field. Masters degree/MBA is a plus.
• Graduation from Tier 1 colleges only (IIT/NIT/BITS) or similar with 8+ CGPA.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role (experience in risk/asset assurance/supply chain/fintech/operations is preferred).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Basic understanding of statistical methods and financial analysis.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
• Good to have knowledge in AI tools, Agentic AI workflows (N8N, Zapier etc).
