Business Controller - Senior Leader

As a Business Controller at Believe, you will play a crucial role in the Finance team, leading in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Your responsibilities will include collaborating cross-functionally and utilizing digital tools for automation and decision-making enhancements. **Key Responsibilities:** **Financial Controlling** - Lead month-end close activities such as accruals, reconciliations, and reporting. - Ensure efficient cash management. - Support finance controllers during audit activities. - Assist business teams in processes. **Business Partnering & Performance Monitoring** *B1. Business Partnering:* - Lead/support budget/re-forecast activities in coordination with support functions and business teams. - Conduct periodic reviews of business performance and cost analysis. - Create and follow through on local calendars for group submissions. - Support Head of Finance in discussions at business and group levels. *B2. Performance Monitoring:* - Utilize central dashboards for actionable insights. - Develop high-impact dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership. - Submit timely and accurate MIS with commentaries. - Provide qualitative analysis and include new KPIs in MIS. - Manage structured business databases for ad hoc analysis. **Finance Projects** - Support projects simplifying performance management and achieving organizational objectives. - Provide strategic and financial inputs for due diligences and business development deals. **Required Skills:** - 9 - 11 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Finance, or similar roles. - Proficiency in Microsoft / Google Suite. - Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, and Generative AI tools preferred. - Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Self-starter with a learning mindset and adaptability. **What Were Looking For:** - Curious, analytical mind with a passion for numbers and technology. - Proactive contributor to the evolution of the finance function. - Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. **Qualifications:** - Chartered Accountant or Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
