Role Overview:
As an accountant at this company in Hyderabad, your role will involve performing various accounting functions on US clients' files. This includes tasks such as posting and reconciling Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Bank and Credit Card transactions, Payroll, and general Journal entries. You will also be responsible for preparing workpapers, accounting schedules, and extracting and preparing various management reports as per clients' needs. Additionally, you will assist in projects such as accounting clean-up, books rebuild, software migration, and account adjustments. It will be essential for you to learn new software and develop new technological skills required for accounting and financial reporting. Adhering to deadlines, self-reviewing work for accuracy, preparing SOPs, and collaborating with both India-based and US-based staff are also key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various accounting functions on US clients' files
- Prepare workpapers, accounting schedules, and management reports
- Assist in projects like accounting clean-up and software migration
- Learn new software and technological skills for accounting and financial reporting
- Adhere to deadlines and keep the reviewer updated on progress
- Self-review work for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare SOPs and update them regularly
- Follow the firm's internal policies, procedures, and controls
- Collaborate with India-based and US-based staff on transactional and reporting activities
Qualifications Required:
- CA Inter/CPA OR Masters with 1-2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably US accounting
- Strong conceptual accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in software/applications like Excel, Word, QBO, Xero, SAGE, NetSuite, Yardi, etc.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-starter with collaborative, creative, and outgoing qualities
- Possess strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and have excellent work ethics
Please note: The office is located at Gowra Palladium, Office No.403, Sy No. 8A & 8B1, Rai Durg, Serilingampalle (M), Telangana 500081. The work shifts are as follows:
- Shift 1: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Hybrid: 2-3 days per week from the office)
- Shift 2: 6:00 PM 3:00 AM (Work from Home)
Candidates opting for the second shift must be available for office reporting as required for team meetings, visits from U.S. partners, or any firm-related functions and official engagements. Role Overview:
