Role Overview:
You will work under the direction of the Information Systems Director and the supervision of a Lead Systems Analyst to develop and maintain software for use by district personnel, students, and guardians throughout the district. The successful candidate should have experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, C#, angular, bootstrap, and user interface design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software for district personnel, students, and guardians
- Work on special projects under the direction of the superintendency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of change requests
- Utilize troubleshooting and testing skills to identify the source of errors
Qualifications Required:
- Working towards or have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
- Experience with the software development life cycle
- Understanding of database structure, concepts, and SQL
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, C#, JQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, XML, and Microsoft .Net technologies
- Familiarity with Visual Studio using MVC 6, PC hardware and software, and Microsoft network environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
(Note: THIS IS A 3 YEAR CONTRACT PROGRAMMING POSITION. Promotions result in a 5% minimum increase)
