Job Description
As an experienced web services developer, you should have at least 6+ years of experience and a solid understanding of web technologies in JAVA. Your expertise should include the ability to build and deploy applications on major cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure. Additionally, you should have strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Your responsibilities will include building Micro Services and RESTful web Services using frameworks like Spring Boot, JaxRS, or Jersey. You should also be proficient in writing JUnits and configuring them through Maven. Furthermore, you should have a good understanding of NoSQL databases such as HBase, Cassandra, BigQuery, or Mongo, as well as Message Queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub Sub.
Having knowledge of Maven, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD architecture, Programming Algorithms, and Data Structures is essential for this role. Experience with BDD & Cucumber is also required.
In addition to the must-have qualifications, it would be beneficial to have experience in monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or their Azure equivalents. Operational readiness in terms of SLI/SLO and DevOps, as well as knowledge of Service mesh technologies like Istio and OpenShift, are also advantageous.
It is good to have knowledge of Graph technology, big data technologies, tools like white source, Veracode, Python, Angular, and Integration tests using BDD Framework (Cucumber). Understanding of Streaming technologies and processing engines such as Dataflow, Flink, Spark, and VSTS will be beneficial for this role.
