Job Description
As a Management Accountant at Japfa India, you will be an integral part of the FP&A team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller based in the Corporate Office in Pune. Japfa Comfeed India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the $5B Japfa Group, is currently experiencing significant growth in the animal feed and agri-processing sectors. You will play a crucial role in partnering with the business and the Financial Controller to drive performance and achieve desired outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Real-Time Business Analytics**
- Develop dynamic dashboards for revenue, volume, price, contribution margin, and collections.
- Identify trends, seasonality patterns, and cost/price variances.
- Generate early warning signals on revenue slowdowns, margin compression, inventory build-up, and working capital stress.
- **Rolling Forecasting & Planning**
- Prepare and maintain monthly rolling forecasts using the 3+9 / 6+6 model.
- Conduct thorough variance analysis (Budget vs Actual vs Forecast).
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Heads to anticipate demand and pricing shifts.
- **Business Engagement**
- Participate in monthly performance review meetings.
- Translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Establish credibility as a finance business partner, not just a report generator.
**Qualification Required:**
- **Educational Qualification**
- CMA(India) / CA / MBA (Finance) from reputed management institutions.
- Candidates with strong analytical capabilities will also be considered.
- **Experience**
- 4-6 years of relevant experience, which may vary based on capabilities.
- Preference for experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agri, poultry, or industrial setups.
- Extensive exposure to management reporting and analytics.
