Role Overview:
As a Data Privacy & Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) and validating data processing activities. You will provide risk-rated recommendations and privacy control requirements, perform data discovery and classification across structured, unstructured, and SaaS environments, maintain data-flow maps, taxonomy, and labels, and support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) by defining policies, tuning rules, reviewing incidents, and recommending actions. Additionally, you will run DSPM scans, analyze exposure risks, prioritize issues, and track remediation closures, review data access permissions, recommend least-privilege access, support periodic access reviews, maintain privacy operations including RoPA, notices, consent logs, and retention schedules, manage Data Subject Requests (DSR) with proper workflows and evidence, support privacy-by-design for new features, system changes, and customer journeys, assist in data protection incident handling triage, RCA, containment, and notification support, and prepare and publish metrics and dashboards (DLP, DSPM, RoPA, DSR SLA, remediation progress).
Key Responsibilities:

- Run DSPM scans, analyze exposure risks, prioritize issues, and track remediation closures.
- Review data access permissions and recommend leastprivilege access; support periodic access reviews.
- Maintain privacy operations including RoPA, notices, consent logs, and retention schedules.
- Manage Data Subject Requests (DSR) with proper workflows and evidence.
- Support privacybydesign for new features, system changes, and customer journeys.
- Assist in data protection incident handling triage, RCA, containment, and notification support.
- Prepare and publish metrics and dashboards (DLP, DSPM, RoPA, DSR SLA, remediation progress).
Qualifications Required:
- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, or other global privacy frameworks.
- Experience with DLP, DSPM, DAM/Data Access Governance tools.
- Good understanding of data flows, data lifecycle, and cloud/SaaS environments.
