Job Description
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Taco Bell, your role revolves around ensuring speed and service excellence at the front line. You will be responsible for leading your team to meet Speed of Service (SOS) targets while maintaining order accuracy. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading by example during peak "rush" periods by demonstrating Action, Communication, and Teamwork (A.C.T.).
- Championing "Golden Moments" to ensure positive customer interactions and high Guest Experience (GEM) scores.
- Managing the drive-thru by monitoring timers and coordinating the line to minimize the "window time."
- Acting as the primary coach for Shift Leads and Team Members, focusing on training and development using Taco Bell's "Learning Zone."
- Assisting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in staffing and scheduling to align with labor budget targets.
- Driving team recognition and maintaining a high-morale environment to uphold the "Live Mas" spirit.
In terms of Food Safety & Operational Standards, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring food safety by logging all "Make Line" temperatures and strictly following the "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) method.
- Maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the store, including the dining area, restrooms, and parking lot.
- Managing inventory by counting stock, handling truck deliveries, and minimizing "Food Variance" (waste).
Furthermore, you will need to demonstrate financial accountability by:
- Understanding the Profit and Loss statement to control costs like labor and food waste.
- Overseeing cash handling procedures, drawer counts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies to prevent loss.
- Driving sales growth through local store marketing initiatives and encouraging staff to upsell products.
