Job Description
As an experienced professional in corporate fitouts projects, your role at Turner & Townsend involves coordinating day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site. You will be responsible for assisting engineers in planning the sequence of construction tasks, ensuring resource availability, and maintaining clear communication between contractors, subcontractors, and the project team. Your attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring manpower allocation and productivity, as well as ensuring that work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Assist engineers in planning the sequence of construction tasks and ensuring resource availability.
- Maintain clear communication between contractors, subcontractors, and the project team.
- Monitor manpower allocation and productivity.
- Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Supervise civil works such as excavation, RCC, block work, shuttering, finishing, etc.
- Report any technical issues or deviations to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
- Verify levels, measurements, and alignment on-site.
- Conduct quality checks as per QA/QC guidelines and ensure compliance.
- Ensure workmanship meets required standards.
- Report and follow up on quality-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Education - B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch Civil
- Post Graduate Qualification in relevant field would be an added advantage.
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
