Job Description
As an experienced Area Sales Engineer in Gurgaon, Haryana, you will play a crucial role in leading sales and business development in the region. Your responsibilities will include setting revenue targets, developing strategies, and leading a team to ensure consistent growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define annual revenue targets and create business plans
- Allocate resources, manage dealer network, and expand territory
- Develop pricing and product strategies
- Manage and grow relationships with key customers
- Drive direct sales, acquire new customers, and retain existing ones
- Appoint and manage dealers, channel partners, and key accounts
- Monitor market trends, competition, and new opportunities
- Handle customer concerns, collect feedback, and improve customer experience
- Follow up on payments, manage receivables, and handle credit risks
- Maintain MIS reports, approve CRM claims, and control expenses
- Hire, train, and manage the sales team
- Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and guide team performance
Qualifications:
- BE or BTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunication, Electrical, or MBA in Marketing
- Strong knowledge of the electronics or industrial sector
- Experience in sales management and key account handling
- Strong commercial and business understanding
- Ability to understand technical product requirements
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Proficiency in MS Office
