Role Overview: Codingal is looking for someone to remediate and elevate block-based coding lessons using AI-powered workflows. The role involves leveraging tools like ChatGPT and Claude to accelerate content creation, refining and fixing lessons that require quality improvement. The selected candidate will receive training on curriculum development best practices to enhance underperforming content to 5-star quality. Key Responsibilities: - Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to efficiently draft, refine, and enhance block-based coding lessons - Review and edit AI-generated content for technical accuracy and pedagogical quality - Test and ensure clarity and functionality of every code block, activity, and instruction - Fix broken code, unclear instructions, and learning gaps - Redesign lessons to be more student-friendly and teacher-ready - Elevate lesson ratings from underperforming to 5-star quality - Systematically track progress and document all improvements - Collaborate with the 3-person curriculum team for review and quality assurance Qualifications Required: - Solid foundation in block-based coding platforms such as Scratch, Code.org, MIT App Inventor, and Blockly - Adaptability to AI-assisted workflows, comfortable with prompting, reviewing, and editing AI-generated content - Strong attention to detail, adept at catching errors and inconsistencies - Systematic approach to tracking and quality assurance - Ability to simplify complex concepts for K-12 learners - Excellent written communication skills - Willingness to learn curriculum development (training provided) - Degree in Computer Science, Education Technology, or related field Additional Details: The company, Codingal, is on a mission to inspire kids to fall in love with coding and provide them with the right education to create anything they can imagine. They aim to build the worlds largest programming school for kids and teens, powered by human and AI tutors. The company offers comprehensive training on curriculum development, quality standards, and AI-assisted content creation workflows. Mentorship will be provided by the staff curriculum team with the opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance. Note: The stipend for the role is 20,000-25,000 per month for a duration of 6 months at the location in HSR Layout, Bangalore. Working days are Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm with perks such as free lunch and dinner, direct mentorship, and full-time conversion potential.
