Job Description

As an Accountant cum Export Documentation professional, your role involves managing daily financial accounting tasks while handling export shipping documents to ensure compliance with customs and international trade regulations. You will be responsible for coordinating with logistics partners, maintaining accurate records, and using ERP software (like Tally) to manage shipments and financial transactions effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, verify, and process all export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Instructions, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin to ensure compliance with export regulations. - Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth shipments and resolve any discrepancies in documentation during the export process. - Manage daily accounts, maintain financial records, handle accounts payable/receivable, and ensure timely payment settlements to support the financial aspect of export operations. - Ensure all transactions adhere to international trade regulations and local customs compliance to avoid any legal issues or penalties related to exports. - Maintain accurate digital and physical files for all shipments and financial records for easy retrieval and reference purposes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, International Business, or a related field. - Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably with expertise in export documentation and financial accounting. - Strong knowledge of customs regulations, international trade compliance, and ERP software (such as Tally) for managing shipments. - Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. - Good communication skills to interact with logistics partners, customs officials, and internal teams for seamless export operations.
