You will be joining SimuPhish, a cybersecurity awareness and phishing simulation platform dedicated to strengthening organizations' human firewall. Your role as a 2D Animation Designer will involve transforming cybersecurity concepts into visually engaging and easy-to-understand animated content. **Role Overview:** As a 2D Animation Designer at SimuPhish, you will: - Create engaging animation-based training modules, awareness videos, scenario simulations, and explainer content. - Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity, content, and product teams to visually communicate complex security topics effectively. - Utilize animation tools such as Powtoon, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro to bring concepts to life. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop high-quality 2D animated videos for various purposes including phishing awareness training, security awareness campaigns, and product walkthroughs. - Create animated characters, scenes, and motion graphics aligned with SimuPhish branding. - Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to ensure accurate representation of real-world attack scenarios. - Edit and optimize animations for web, LMS platforms, and enterprise delivery. - Maintain brand consistency and ensure engagement and educational value in animations. - Optimize video output for different formats and platforms. - Possess 25+ years of experience in 2D animation or motion design. **Required skills and qualifications:** - Proficiency in Powtoon, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. - Strong understanding of motion graphics, timing, and visual storytelling. - Experience in creating explainer videos and educational content. - Ability to simplify technical concepts into visually engaging animations. - Strong portfolio showcasing 2D animations and motion graphics. - Knowledge of typography, color theory, and composition. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in creating cybersecurity or compliance training content. - Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI content standards. - Experience in SaaS or ed-tech environments. - Understanding of UI/UX animation principles. - Skills in voiceover synchronization and audio editing.
